PORCH

A native client for a Coder deployment.

Porch signs in through the OAuth2 provider of the deployment it connects to, so the password never reaches the phone.

The screens are of the app itself, on an iPhone, taken against a deployment of made-up data.

The address of the deployment, then the sign in through its OAuth2 provider. The app registers itself on the deployment, so no secret of an OAuth2 application exists anywhere.

Workspaces

Every workspace of the signed-in user, with its state, its agent and the moment it was last used. Start a stopped workspace and watch the build run, log and all. Stop one when the day is over, extend it when the work needs longer.

The terminal

A terminal on the agent of a workspace, inside the app, over the same connection the agent serves.

The apps of a workspace

Any app of a workspace in a tab inside the app, the code server among them, and a swipe back to the workspace.

Chat

The chats of the deployment, with the chats of a subagent under the chat that spawned it. Write to the agent and watch the answer come in, attach a file to the message, interrupt the answer when the work takes another road, and pick the model it answers with.

The inbox

The notifications of the deployment for the signed-in user, arriving live, each one naming the workspace it is about.

Settings

The appearance of the app, the counts of the analytics, the push of the deployment, and the deployments the app is signed in to.

On the device

The app locks itself with Face ID, Touch ID or the passcode of the device after it has been away for a moment. The tokens of the session live in the secure store of the phone.

Porch will be available soon for iOS and Android.

Porch collects no personal data of the person who uses it, and it holds no account of its own. The account of the user lives on the deployment.

Porch is a third-party client for Coder and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Coder, Inc.
